In May of 2021, the Board of General Service Foundation voted to align 100% of GSF’s endowment with its mission, and launched a search process to identify a new investment advisor who could partner with the foundation on this goal. In “No Small Change: Using Our Assets to Drive Racial, Gender and Economic Justice” we share a snapshot of how mission-aligned investment advisors are thinking about racial, gender and economic justice, a synthesis of responses to our Open Call for Letters of Interest and our lessons learned from the search process. We hope this white paper will serve as a resource to other foundations that are looking to advance justice using their endowments.
